After spending 35 years in the real estate business, Charlotte A. Solt has decided to sell her Tamaqua real estate business to two of her own real estate agents.

"I was their boss, now they are my boss," said Charlotte A. Solt, past owner of Charlotte A. Solt Real Estate, as she described the transfer of ownership of her business to two of her agents, Kim Hillegass and Tammy Swinburne.Before taking ownership, Hillegass and Swinburne, who have worked with Solt for a combined total of almost 30 years, are both Tamaqua graduates.Solt, who will still plans on working in the office, said she simply wanted to slow down for health reasons.Hillegass and Swinburne, who currently don't plan on changing the business name, stressed their continued dedication to their current and new clients."In addition to our regular real estate services, we offer listings, sellings, limited rental services and so on," said Swinburne, who has been with Charlotte A.
