An Allentown man was arraigned Wednesday on charges related to a reported domestic incident in Tamaqua.

Police were dispatched to 91 Patterson St. at 6:42 a.m. for a reported unwanted person. On scene they spoke with Lori Anders, who said she wanted Jay Beil, 38, of Allentown, removed from her home. Beil had allegedly punched their teen age daughter in the face.The teen's ear was red and she complained of being unable to hear. The mother noted she was going to take the child to a hospital for examination.Beil was removed from the home and arraigned before District Judge Stephen Bayer, of Tamaqua, on charges of domestic/simple assault and harassment. Bail was set at $10,000 unsecured with the stipulation that he was not to return to the Patterson Street home.
