The Blue Bombers, coached by Bill Ruddy, get on the scoreboard in the opening period when Carazo reaches the end zone from three yards away. Carazo adds an insurance score in the third frame on another three-yard TD run. Palmerton's defense stops two potential Slatington scoring drives with interceptions by Ralph Strohl and Dick Heydt.
