State police at Lehighton reported on three driving under the influence (DUI) arrests made this week by troopers.
Troopers said Jeremy Tobin, 34, of Lansford, was stopped about 11:10 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 13, along SR209 at Iron St., in Lehighton, for failure to use is turn signal on two separate occasions. He was also driving without a license that was suspended-DUI related.He was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI and taken to the Lehighton hospital for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results.At 1:47 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 14, troopers stopped Jennifer Liat Hughart, 46, of Kunkletown, along Lower Smith Gap Road at Blue Mountain View Lane, in Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County, for DUI.At 10:40 p.m. on Wednesday Rhonda Lynne Hoffman, 40, of Lehighton, was stopped along Long Run Road, near Market Road, in Franklin Township, Carbon County, for a vehicle code violation.She was found to be under the infuence and was placed under arrrest for DUI.
