In honor of Veterans' Day, the Navy Club of Carbon County, presented a program for the fourth graders at Panther Valley Elementary School in Nesquehoning. The program was entitled "Honoring the Flag". The students were given the history of the seven flags representing our country past and present. Students were taught how to properly fold a flag. The program was coordinated through the efforts of fourth grade teacher, Mary Beth Walker. In picture are left to right, Natalie White, Maranda Torres, Jaden Shubeck, Stan Jaroszewski (executive officer), John Mauro, Noah Houtsch, Matthew Milkowich, William Mahoney, and Scott Reinhart (commander).
