The Greater Lehigh Valley Writers Group (GLVWG) will hold its October meeting at 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 27 at the Palmer Branch of the Easton Area Public Library, 1 Weller Place, Easton.

During the meeting, photographer, filmmaker and writer Anna Schwartz will present "Creating Place in Your Writing," which takes a look at setting in storytelling.An afternoon workshop, "You're on Stage: Now What?" will also be presented by author David Miller at 1:30 p.m. at the same location.This workshop will show attendees how to talk about their writing whether pitching to an agent or editor, or in an interview situation.The afternoon workshop is free for GLVWG members.
