A McAdoo man has been charged with multiple offenses after allegedly threatening a police officer and causing a disturbance on Oct. 6.

McAdoo Patrolman Steven Homanko was monitoring traffic in the area of a bank parking lot at 3 a.m. when he observed a man and woman walking past. As the couple crossed the street the male began yelling. A few minutes later the male approached the police cruiser, staring at the officer. He then began arguing with Homanko, refusing to believe he wasn't another officer.The male then began using profane language and refused the officers orders to identify himself or go home. The male had an odor of alcohol on his person.After repeatedly refusing the officer's instructions the male was identified as Matthew Storaska, 30, of 34 N. Hancock St. As he was being taken into custody Storaska threatened to harm the officer and yelled for his mom, who came to his side and instructed him to cooperate.Storaska was given a portable breath test, which indicated a blood-alcohol content of .086, just above the legal limit of .08 percent.He was charged with terroristic threats, obstructing justice, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, obstructing a public passage way, and public drunkenness.
