PAHS to meet

Palmerton Area Historical Society will meet hold its general monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 8, at the Palmerton Area Library, Knight's Gallery. The meeting will start with a brief business meeting, following by a program.The presenters will be a panel formed by the New Jersey Zinc Company employees and chaired by Peter Kern. They will give an inside look at the New Jersey Zinc Co. with stories and anecdotes not usually known.No school in PASDPalmerton Area School District announces that students will not attend school on Monday, Oct. 15, due to a teacher in-service day.
