An Allentown man, who went on a rampage in Hometown, Rush Township, and on the football field of Marian Catholic High School, entered a guilty plea in Schuylkill County court to a number of criminal charges and was sentenced by Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin.

Andrew Hector Alatorre, 25, of 1151 Bull Dog Drive, pleaded guilty to charges of theft by unlawful taking, simple assault, unauthorized use of a vehicle, resisting arrest, and criminal mischief. He was given credit for serving 68 days in the county prison and was released on parole for 35 months and ordered to pay $50 to the Criminal Justice Enhancement Account, a $50 monthly supervision fee, and make restitution of $6,862.27 to Progressive Insurance Company; $100 to Leonard Kufta, of Coal Township; and $960 to Marian Catholic High School.He was cited by Rush Township Sgt. Duane Frederick, who charged last January 5 he was called to the area of Marian Avenue where a car was parked in the middle of the road and the occupant was throwing garbage on the road and also tossed a soda bottle on a passing vehicle causing the contents to spill on the car.That the vehicle took off and struck a sign on Mahanoy Avenue and the occupant got out of the vehicle and banged on doors on homes on Ryan Avenue, smashing flower pots.Alatorre was also charged with driving a stolen car belonging to Leonard Kufta and traveling on the property of Marian Catholic High School performed a few laps around the field and crashed through a fence and was involved in a collision a few miles down the road. After being confronted by Frederick he resisted arrest and had to be tased. The police officer claimed the defendant acted as if under the influence of drugs.
