Tamaqua police have cited a woman following a shoplifting incident at the Family Dollar, 137 N. Railroad St.

Naomi Ellison, 30, of 266 W. Cottage Ave., Tamaqua, was observed placing several items beneath the stroller she was pushing. The four items she attempted to leave the store without purchasing were valued at $24 in total.She was cited for retail theft.
