A Tamaqua man faces charges following an incident at the Dollar General Store on Sunday.

Borough police were dispatched to the store, located on East Broad Street, at 6:56 p.m., for the theft of a cell phone. The suspect was identified as Alexander Modawar of South Lehigh St. The phone was recovered.Modawar will be charged with retail theft.
