Palmerton Area School District will hold its first ever Cross Country Alumni Race at 6 p.m. Friday Aug. 17.

The event, for Palmerton Cross Country Alumni only, will be held at the district's home cross country course off Fireline Road.The event will serve as a fundraiser for the cross country Parents Club. Cross country alumni who participate will be charged a $10 fee to run in the race. Food and drinks will be provided afterward.
