A Tamaqua man faces charges related to a vehicle stop on Claremont Avenue, Rush Township on June 29.

Hubert W. Budd, 18, admitted to officers that he had ingested 15-20 doses of an over the counter medication.Due to his condition an ambulance was dispatched to the scene to determine if medical treatment was required.The incident took place at 12:13 a.m. Budd faces driving under the influence (DUI) and traffic charges.
