State police at Schuylkill Haven reported investigating a rear-end type crash in Schuylkill County about 5:20 p.m. on Wednesday, June 20, along Rock Road (SR895) in Pine Grove Township.

Troopers said Chris E. Kauffman, 47, of Bethel, Lebanon County, was driving a 2002 Ford F250 truck eastbound when he began to slow down to make a left turn onto SR501 when his vehicle was struck in the rear by a 2012 Hyundai Accent driven by Anne Skidmore, 67, of Schuylkill Haven.Skidmore, Kauffman and his passengers Sherry L. Kauffman, 43, and Austin S. Kauffman, 13, both of Bethel, were all not injured.Skidmore was cited for following too closely, troopers said.
