The Tamaqua Area Adult Day Care Center has a number of activities planned for the month of June, including an "oldies" dance on June 9, at the Tamaqua Elks. Music will be provided by DJ Original Sounds.Other special days this month include: June 12, construction of flag pinwheels; June 13, special breakfast and Salvation Army service; June 14, Flag Day celebration; June 15, sing along with Audrey Christ; June 18, Father's Day celebration; June 20, monthly birthday party; June 21, trip to Heisler's Dairy Bar; June 25, baking applesauce loaves; June 26, baking mini cakes; June 27, cooking class.In addition to weekly sing-alongs and social games, hairstyling and manicure services are available.
