A Lehigh County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident that occurred on Sunday, May 27, along SR22 at SR309 in South Whitehall Township.

State police at Fogelsville said Gabriel Ramos Jr., 35, of Bay Berry Drive, Breinigsville, was observed speeding and texting while driving and leaving his lane of travel while westbound.A traffic stop was made and Ramos was found to be under the influence.He was placed under arrest and transported to the county DUI center for a blood test.The DUI charge is pending the test results, troopers said.
