A Schuylkill County man is facing a charge of theft.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Jared Stessalavage, of Orwigsburg, backed his vehicle into a wooded area behind Moyer's Service Station, Wayne Township.Troopers allege that Stessalavage began loading numerous pieces of scrap metal, steel, and an old snowplow into the back of his vehicle without the permission of the owner.The incident occurred about 9 a.m. on May 15, troopers said. He was charged with theft and receiving stolen property.
