Drivers traveling both directions on Pine Creek Drive, SR54, between Barnesville and Hometown were caught off guard as they came across a mound of washed out dirt and landscaping rocks across both lanes. The owners of a nearby property stated that Saturday's rain storm eroded all their landscaping work, which they just finished only a few days prior. A backhoe was used to clear the road. Rush Township Police, State Police and Rush Township Fire Police helped control traffic around the area.
