Saturday's strong storm ripped up new tar, eroded earth and moved large pieces of asphalt and rocks onto the road as it turned Hometown Hill (SR309) into a rushing river. Hometown Fire Department, Rush Township and Kline Township Police closed the right side lane of the hill while volunteers and police removed the debris.
