The Carbon County Bar Association recently presented a $1,000 check to Shepherd House, Inc. to fund local food pantries.

Shepherd House lost over $42,000 in state and federal funding for 2011-2012 due to cutbacks and is relying heavily on contributions made by individuals, churches, businesses and other organizations to help meet the ever-increasing need in the county.For more information or to make a donation to Shepherd House call Stanley Haupt at (610) 377-6048.
