ANDREW LEIBENGUTH/TIMES NEWS Tamaqua Elementary School students, dressed in team colors, held their Olympic Fun Day recently at the school. Numerous inside and outside activities were held during the all-day event, including music, dancing, bounce house, face painting, temporary tattoos, dress up boots, water balloons, ball relay, bean bag toss, hula hoop relay, ballon brigade, obstacle course, limbo, tug of war, hopper balls, sack race and relay races. Parents, teachers, high school students and other volunteers helped with the events. Second grade student Craig Grebe, 8, above, rolls end over end as he enjoys himself on a large inflatable castle.
