Kim and John Szacska of Lehighton have announced the engagement of their daughter, Jamie Steigerwalt, to Sjaun Lobdell, son of Eugene and Patricia Lobdell of Deposit, N.Y.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Moravian College. She currently teaches seventh grade math at Nazareth Area Middle School.The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Valley Forge Christian College and currently works as an IT professional at the Linde Group.A November wedding is planned.
