Monroe break-in

State police at Fern Ridge are investigating a burglary at a Monroe County residence.

Troopers said the home at 141 Old Stone Road, in Chestnuthill Township, was entered through a window in which the screen was ripped off.Once inside the criminals defecated in the bathroom sink.The incident occurred sometime between April 10 and 28, troopers said. The home is owned by Harold and Armida Lange, of Middle Village, N.Y.Troopers are also probing a theft from vehicle incident. Reshard N. Mohammed, of Mountain Road, Indian Mountain Lakes, Penn Forest Township, reported his car was entered while parked in the driveway of his home and removed was an iPod.The incident occurred sometime between Sunday, May 6, at 7 p.m. and Monday at 7:30 a.m.Laura Irene Boyd, 45, of 605 Saturn Drive, Effort, Chestnuthill Township, reported someone cut two window screens on her home.The incident occurred sometime between April 27 and May 2.Anyone with information concerning any of these incidents is asked to call troopers at (570) 646-2271.
