A Tamaqua woman has been cited following a shoplifting incident at the Family Dollar Store on March 31.

Tamaqua police were dispatched to the Railroad Street store at 8:12 p.m. where store personnel had detained Amanda Welker, 24, of 34 Hunter St.Welker was cited for retail theft.
