Community members, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, park members, Tamaqua students and caring residents will be spending a couple hours Saturday morning cleaning different parks and locations in Tamaqua as part of a Community Cleanup for Earth Day event, called "Coming Together to Make a Cleaner World."

All are invited and encouraged to help clean. Volunteers can meet at the North and Middle Ward Playground on Washington Street or any park starting at 9 a.m. tomorrow. Garbage piles can be left at the parks or key areas and will be removed by volunteers.
