Mooring permits will be made available for the Mauch Chunk Lake Park on Saturday, March 31.

Boat mooring is permitted at the park between April 1 and December 1.Powered (electric motor only for Mauch Chunk Lake) or non-powered boat registration is required for all watercraft that are moored at the lake.Anyone wishing to apply for a 2012 mooring permit must provide a copy of a current boat registration.The park office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and weekends during camping season.For additional information call the park office at (570) 325-3669 or visit the park website at
