Firefighters from the Walker/New England Fire Company responded to a dumpster fire behind Koch's Turkey Farm on Valley Road in Lewistown Valley just after 9 p.m. Friday. High winds made extinguishing the fire more difficult. The dumpster was destroyed by the fire. The cause of the fire is unknown.
