Northern Lehigh High School senior Lauren Haberern recently committed to play softball at the University of Southern Maine.

Haberern has been recuited as a pitcher for the Huskies.After playing for the Bulldogs her freshman and softball seasons, Haberern was a member of the Doylestown Dragons 18U A Tournament team last season where she was used as a pitcher and an outfielder.Haberern has a 4.11 GPA at Northern Lehigh where she is in the top 20% of her class. She will be studying Communications and Marketing while attending the University of Southern Maine.USM is located in the Portland, Maine area and is a member Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC). The Huskies are an NCAA Division III school is softball.
