State police at Fern Ridge are investigating a burglary at a Carbon County residence in which copper pipes were stolen.

The break-in occurred at the residence of Ralph Trabachino, 45, of 28 Milton Way, Albrightsville, Towamensing Trails, Penn Forest Township.Troopers said forced entry was made to a crawl space underneath the home. The copper pipes were removed from that area. Troopers said the criminala then went to a shed on the property and gained entry by force and removed a gas can and some tools.The incident occurred sometime between Jan. 22 at 1 p.m. and Jan. 23 at 8 a.m.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at (570) 646-2271.
