Charges are pending against a Jim Thorpe man who crashed into the front porch of a borough home on Saturday night. Michael Dejessa, 30, of 713 North St., told police his car had mechanical problems when he struck the home at 22 E. Second St. at 10:26 p.m. No one was injured in the crash. Police Chief Joseph Schatz said charges are pending against Dejessa upon completion of the investigation.
