Copper piping and fuel oil were reported taken in a Monroe County burglary.
The break-in occurred at the home at 221 Mountain View Drive, in Polk Township, Monroe County. Entry was made through a side window. The copper piping was taken from the basement area and about 200 gallons of heating oil was also removed. The incident occurred sometime between Oct. 8 and 12. The home is owned by Joseph P. Trendler, 70, of New Hope, Bucks County, troopers said.
