A Carbon County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI).

State police at Lehighton said Tisha Staehle, 31, of Lansford, was stopped about 2 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 9, along SR443 in Mahoning Township after being observed driving erratically.She showed signs of intoxication and failed field sobriety tests, troopers said. She was then taken to the Palmerton Hospital for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results, troopers added.
