Three local area school districts have been approved as sponsors of the Lehigh County Community College. Panther Valley, Lehighton Area, and Palmerton Area School Districts will join the nine Lehigh County districts as sponsors of the college, effective Oct. 1, 1966. They will share in the expenses of the operation upon their approval by the State Board of Education.
