Palmerton has received zero interest in a vacant lot located in the west end of the borough.

No bids were received by the borough on Tuesday for the property at 910 Edgemont Avenue.As a result, Borough Council will have to mull its options, according to borough Manager Rodger Danielson."Council will decide whether to rebid, or see if there's some interest later on," Danielson said.The borough took over ownership of the property last November.Prior to that, the property had been abandoned for many years, and cited various times, Danielson said.Council may discuss the matter when it meets at 7 p.m. Thursday.
