A child custody dispute led the charges being filed against the two involved.

State police at Lehighton said Donna Barbra Lamberty, of Palmerton, and Cassie Marie Lamberty, of 4600 Memorial Drive, Kunkletown, Polk Township, Monroe Coutny, got into a verbal and physical altercation over child custody issues as the Polk Township address, troopers said. The incident occurred about 7:20 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 15.Both were issued citations for harassment.
