Closing out the Palmerton Bandstand Concert Series will be a concert by the Palmerton Band on Sunday, Aug. 14 at 7 p.m. Bring a lawn chair.In case of rain, the event will be held in the borough hall, 443 Delaware Ave., Palmerton.Knitting ClubFrom 6-8 p.m., Monday, Aug. 15, the Knitting Club will meet at the Palmerton Area Library.The club is for all area residents interested in knitting, crocheting, and other crafts.The club is free, and new members are welcome.Library board of trusteesThe Palmerton Area Library board of trustees will meet at 4 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 17 at the library. Meetings are open to the public.
