State police at Fern Ridge are seeking the operator of a motorcycle who fled troopers and led them on a chase.

Troopers said the incident began about 7 p.m. on Tuesday along SR209 in the Brodheadsville area of Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, when a traffic stop was attempted. The driver of the bike fled.Troopers engaged in a pursuit north on Weir Lake Road, north on SR115, west on Jonas Road and then north on Mountain Road. Troopers terminated the pursuit in the Sun Valley area of Mountain Road.The bike operator was a white male and had a female passenger. The bike was red in color. The driver is sought for committing multiple traffic and criminal violations including recklessly endangering, troopers said.Anyone with information concerning this incident including possible registration of the motorcycle or identity of the driver or passenger, are asked to call troopers at (570) 646-2271.
