A Florida truck driver was injured in a accident along Intestate 81 in Foster Township, Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said Thomas Cavanaugh, 55, of Sarasota, was operating a 2006 Volvo truck-tractor towing a semi-trailer loaded with golf carts, northbound. Cavanaugh lost control of the truck while in the left lane.The truck exited the left side of the road, hit a large section of guard rail and then traveled down a steep embankment where the truck and trailer overturned onto its right side.Cavanaugh "alleged" that another vehicle drifted into his lane of travel, troopers said.Cavanaugh sustained a head and arm injury and was transported to the Schuylkill Medical Center-E. Norwegian St., Pottsville, for treatment. The truck and trailer are owned by Double Bogey Auto Transport, of Sarasota, troopers said.
