Pocono Mountain Regional police reported on arrests made by officers recently.
On Monday, May 30, about 10:39 p.m. officers were dispatched to 2239 Kensington Terrace in the Pocono Farms development for a victim of a fight requesting an ambulance. On scene officers spoke with Erik Lane, 28 of 144 Geering Terrace, Paramus, N.J., who was bleeding from a cut on his chin and complaining of pain to his front teeth.Lang said when he asked Robert Bailey, 30, of 13 Verona Lane, Brodheadsville, and others to leave the residence after a party and they refused. Lang said while he was speaking to Bailey's mother, he struck him in the face.Lang was transported to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, for treatment of his injuries.Bailey was arrested for simple assault and harassment, police said.Also on Monday, about 7:21 p.m., officers were called to 216 Beaver Lane, in Pocono Summit, for a fight in front of the residence. Upon arrival officers were directed to the rear where the found Ray Coley, 20, of Pocono Summit. He was being restrained by his father.Coley became combative with the officers and resisted arrest. He was placed in custody and transported to the county prison in Snydersville on charges of resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.On Tuesday, May 31, about 8:12 p.m. officers were dispatched to 5845 Salamance Lane, Tobyhanna, for a domestic incident. After speaking with both parties police said Derek Johnson, 42, of Tobyhanna, was placed under arrest for simple assault.
