A Lackawanna County man was arrested this week for violating the conditions of Megan's Law.
Pocono Mountain Regional police said they were contacted by state police that Henry John Waldron, 28, of Thornhurst, was employed at a business in Coolbaugh Township and needed that verified. Officers went to the business and spoke with the owner who said Waldron was employed there but his employment was terminated.Waldron failed to report the job termination within 48 hours to state police at required by Megan's Law. On Wednesday, June 1, Waldron was interviewed at the Pocono headquarters and was placed under arrest for the violation.He was arrainged before a district judge and committed to the county prison in Snydersville after failing to post 10 percent of $5,000 bail.
