From January through April, the Northern Lehigh Middle School North Team participated in a homeroom "Coin Wars" to benefit the Slatington Public Library. Large jars were kept by homeroom teachers for daily collections of student pocket change. In all, $205 was collected, with students from Homeroom 14 winning the collection competition. Drake Pristash, HR 14, and Parker Smith, HR 23, were two of the largest contributors to this community service project.
