Small communities throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania are now being introduced to the "touch-tone" Bell Telephone system and the customers within the borough of Tamaqua can be linked with the system on May 10, it was reported today. Donald Matalavage, borough manager, tested teh first push-button telephone in the community. Residential costs will be about $1.58 for the touch-tone system, and business rates will be $2.11 per line per month, in addition to regular telephone costs.
