Friday morning's severe thunderstorm caused Route 248 West to be shut down for three hours.
Emergency crews worked to drain the flooded roadway as traffic was diverted through Parryville.An Allentown couple got stuck on the road for more than an hour. The vehicle was eventually towed.In addition, the southbound lane of Route 209 in Franklin Township was also closed yesterday morning as a result of the flooding.
