Four Tamaqua area men have been cited for their outstanding radio work during the September 1975 hurricane rescue efforts by the American Radio Relay League Inc. Allen R. Breiner Jr., Tony Sarli, Sylvester Dallas, and Allen R. Breiner Sr. have been commended by the league with a public service award in consideration of meritorious work in connection with Hurricane Eloise on Sept. 22-26, 1975, as reported in QST, a trade magazine of the organization based in Connecticut.
