Firefighters from surrounding areas responded to fully-engulfed structure fire around 8:30 a.m. this morning in Ryan Township. The fire completely destroyed a mobile home at 695 Brockton Mountain Drive. Firefighters from Hometown, Delano, Brockton, Tuscarora, Mahanoy City and Tamaqua responded. Tamaqua RIT also responded. No injuries were reported, although a number of house pets are unaccounted for. The Eastern Northumberland and Schuylkill County Red Cross is helping the family. Tamaqua fire police detoured traffic around the area for the duration.
