Mountain Karate Academy, Lehighton, took 16 trophies and five medals at the Coal Kickin Karate tournament that took place in Tamaqua on March 6. Winners were, from left, front row, Ivy Stauffer, Alexis Frey, Cody Meckes and Matt Stauffer Jr.; middle row, Devin Scott, Cheyenne Meckes, Alexis Scott, Gabrielle Stauffer and Samantha Gruber; and back row, Destiny Stauffer, Matt Stauffer, Sr., Master Paul Maglionico, Dave Scott and Angellica Stauffer. Also receiving medals were, Alexis Yenser-Good, Paige Noble and Levi Monk.
