Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin handed down orders after holding hearings on motions for bail reductions.Joseph Franz, 23, of190 Lincoln Drive, Hometown, had his bail set at $5,000 unsecured bail and he shall not have contacts with victims.Thomas Bowman, 57, of 304 Ridge Terrace, Coaldale, has his bail set at $5,000 unsecured bail and shall have no contact with the victim nor possess any firearms. He faces a charge of simple assault.Stephen Michel Gaughan, 24, Mahanoy City, had his bail set at $5,000 unsecured bail and he shall seek treatment for his medical and psychiatric problems. Gaughan faces charges of fleeing police, endangering welfare of a child, recklessly endangering another person, retail theft and six motor vehicle code violations. (Unsecured bail means the defendants do not post any money but if they violated the rules they become liable for the amount set).Divorces grantedMichael Trudich, 260 Owl Creek Road, Tamaqua, was granted a divorce from Betty Trudich, 37 West Broad Street, Tamaqua. They were married August 8, 2001.Sean Dunleavy, Ashland, was granted a divorce from Stephanie H. Dunleavy, Shamokin. They were married August 4, 2007.Amanda J. Miller, 11 East Lehigh Stret, Coaldale, started a divorce action against Laura A. Miller, 609 Gypsy Hill Gardens, Lehighton. They were married August 8, 2009.Jerome Richmond, Jr., 519 North Railroad Street, Tamaqua, filed suit for divorce from Shelley L. Montgomery-Richmond, 314 Swinehart Road, Glenmoore, Chester County. They were married February 14, 1995.Guilty pleaMaria Joanna Zaylskus, 35, Pottsville, on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia as filed by Patrolman Kirk Becker, Pottsville Police, last September when she was stopped in the 1300 block on Seneca Street, was sentenced by Judge John E. Domalakes to serve 12 months on probation, pay $50 to the Criminal Justice Enhancement Account, a $50 monthly fee for each month on probation and court costs.
