Two persons were hurt in a two-vehicle crash at 2:11 p.m. Marck 16 at the intersection of Mill Creek Road and Hamilton Boulevard in Lower Macungie Township.

State police at the Fogelsville barracks said Tiffany A. Pauley, 19, of Mertztown, and Ryan K. Young, 24, of Macungie, were transported by EMS crews to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.Police said Pauley was driving a 2005 Jeep LIberty northbound on Mill Creek Road and was traveling through a green light at the intersection with Hamilton Boulevard when Young, traveling west on Hamilton Boulevard, failed to stop for a red light and entered the intersection causing the collision.Both vehicles were towed from the scene.Police said Young was cited for having caused the accident.
