Lehighton Borough Council agreed to seek bids for a new fire truck to replace one destroyed by fire in October last year. Councilman Carlos Teets and Ned Harleman made the motion to have the bids opened at the April meeting. It was noted that when a new truck is ordered, it will take a year to 18 months before delivery occurs.
