A female driver escaped serious injury Thursday afternoon when involved in a crash along SR902 in Summit Hill. The crash occurred just before 2 p.m. The driver was traveling south just past the White Bear intersection when she apparently failed to see a tractor trailer in front of her attempt to make a right turn onto a dirt lane. She swerved to the right to avoid the truck striking a snow bank, then re-entered the roadway where her vehicle rolled onto its side. The roadway was closed for an hour. Borough police are investigating. Mahoning Township police assisted at the scene.
